| CVE-2026-87875 | 1 Redhat | 3 Enterprise Linux, Hummingbird, Openshift | 2026-09-10 | 4.3 Medium |
| The cupsUTF32ToUTF8() function in CUPS's cups/transcode.c lacks a source-length bound and can read past the end of the source buffer, resulting in a heap out-of-bounds read. This is reachable via SNMP supply-description parsing in backend/snmp-supplies.c with attacker-controlled content. | ||||
| CVE-2026-3833 | 2 Gnu, Redhat | 15 Gnutls, Discovery, Enterprise Linux and 12 more | 2026-09-10 | 6.5 Medium |
| A flaw was found in gnutls. This vulnerability occurs because gnutls performs case-sensitive comparisons of `nameConstraints` labels, specifically for `dNSName` (DNS) or `rfc822Name` (email) constraints within `excludedSubtrees` or `permittedSubtrees`. A remote attacker can exploit this by crafting a leaf certificate with casing differences in the Subject Alternative Name (SAN), leading to a policy bypass where a certificate that should be rejected is instead accepted. This could result in unauthorized access or information disclosure. | ||||
| CVE-2026-2340 | 2 Redhat, Samba | 10 Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus, Openshift and 7 more | 2026-09-10 | 6.5 Medium |
| A flaw was found in Samba’s vfs_worm module. The module is intended to provide write-once, read-many (WORM) protections by preventing modification of files after a configurable grace period. Due to insufficient validation during rename operations, an authenticated user with write access to a share could overwrite a protected file by renaming a newly created file over the existing WORM-protected file. | ||||
| CVE-2026-15816 | 1 Redhat | 10 Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus, Hardened Images and 7 more | 2026-09-10 | 7.5 High |
| A flaw was found in dracut. The die() error-handling function writes its message into a shell script under the initramfs emergency-hook directory without properly shell-quoting it. When the message contains data derived from the DHCP ROOT_PATH option, an attacker on the adjacent network who controls a rogue DHCP server can inject a command-substitution sequence that executes as root the next time dracut sources its emergency hook scripts during standard boot-failure handling. | ||||
| CVE-2026-6893 | 1 Redhat | 11 Dracut, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus and 8 more | 2026-09-10 | 7.5 High |
| A flaw was found in dracut. A remote attacker on the adjacent network can exploit this vulnerability by providing specially crafted DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) options, such as a malicious hostname, to a system using dracut's legacy DHCP path. These options are improperly handled and written into temporary shell scripts without proper escaping, leading to command injection. This allows the attacker to achieve root code execution within the initramfs, potentially compromising the system's boot and network behavior. | ||||
| CVE-2026-3012 | 2 Redhat, Samba | 10 Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus, Openshift and 7 more | 2026-09-10 | 8 High |
| A flaw was found in Samba’s certificate auto-enrollment Group Policy handling. When certificate auto-enrollment is enabled, Samba may retrieve a CA certificate over an unencrypted HTTP connection and install it into the local trust store without proper verification. An attacker with the ability to intercept or redirect network traffic could exploit this behavior to supply a malicious certificate authority certificate, potentially allowing interception or spoofing of trusted communications. | ||||
| CVE-2025-49796 | 1 Redhat | 16 Cert Manager, Discovery, Enterprise Linux and 13 more | 2026-09-10 | 9.1 Critical |
| A vulnerability was found in libxml2. Processing certain sch:name elements from the input XML file can trigger a memory corruption issue. This flaw allows an attacker to craft a malicious XML input file that can lead libxml to crash, resulting in a denial of service or other possible undefined behavior due to sensitive data being corrupted in memory. | ||||
| CVE-2025-49794 | 1 Redhat | 15 Cert Manager, Enterprise Linux, Hummingbird and 12 more | 2026-09-10 | 9.1 Critical |
| A use-after-free vulnerability was found in libxml2. This issue occurs when parsing XPath elements under certain circumstances when the XML schematron has the <sch:name path="..."/> schema elements. This flaw allows a malicious actor to craft a malicious XML document used as input for libxml, resulting in the program's crash using libxml or other possible undefined behaviors. | ||||
| CVE-2025-9566 | 1 Redhat | 9 Enterprise Linux, Hummingbird, Openshift and 6 more | 2026-09-10 | 8.1 High |
| There's a vulnerability in podman where an attacker may use the kube play command to overwrite host files when the kube file container a Secrete or a ConfigMap volume mount and such volume contains a symbolic link to a host file path. In a successful attack, the attacker can only control the target file to be overwritten but not the content to be written into the file. Binary-Affected: podman Upstream-version-introduced: v4.0.0 Upstream-version-fixed: v5.6.1 | ||||
| CVE-2026-17523 | 2 Linux, Redhat | 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux | 2026-09-10 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: can: bcm: switch timer to HRTIMER_MODE_SOFT and remove hrtimer_tasklet This patch switches the timer to HRTIMER_MODE_SOFT, which executed the timer callback in softirq context and removes the hrtimer_tasklet. | ||||
| CVE-2026-87876 | 1 Redhat | 3 Enterprise Linux, Hummingbird, Openshift | 2026-09-09 | 3 Low |
| Two case-insensitive comparisons on request-derived usernames outside the main authorization path in CUPS's scheduler (printer ACL validation and private-attribute filtering) could allow bypass of username-based access controls in certain configurations. | ||||
| CVE-2026-11332 | 1 Redhat | 17 Acm, Ansible Automation Platform, Ansible Automation Platform Developer and 14 more | 2026-09-09 | 7.8 High |
| A flaw was found in ansible-core. The ansible-galaxy role install command processes dependency specifications from a role's meta/requirements.yml file. Due to improper neutralization of argument delimiters, a malicious role author can inject arbitrary git configuration flags through the src field. This allows arbitrary code execution on the machine of a user who installs the role via ansible-galaxy role install. | ||||
| CVE-2026-19546 | 1 Redhat | 1 Enterprise Linux | 2026-09-09 | 8.8 High |
| A flaw was found in DBI. This is a fix for a partial fix for CVE-2026-14380 for RHEL 9.8.z and 10.2.z. For a detailed Statement, Description and Mitigation please reffer to the original https://access.redhat.com/security/cve/cve-2026-19546. | ||||
| CVE-2026-87766 | 1 Redhat | 2 Enterprise Linux, Hummingbird | 2026-09-09 | 8.8 High |
| A flaw was found in bubblewrap. During sandbox setup, creating files or directories under the new root can follow a parent symlink onto the host via /oldroot, writing attacker-chosen paths outside the sandbox as the launching user. This happens before the sandboxed process starts. This issue is GHSA-pxhw-h44j-8pfx. It is fixed in bubblewrap 0.12.0. | ||||
| CVE-2026-18147 | 1 Redhat | 1 Enterprise Linux | 2026-09-09 | 8.1 High |
| A flaw was found in FreeIPA. An unauthenticated remote attacker could exploit a DOM Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the FreeIPA/IdM Web UI password reset page. By enticing a victim to click a specially crafted link and complete a password reset, the attacker could inject and execute arbitrary JavaScript code. This allows the attacker to perform actions within the victim's authenticated session, potentially leading to full administrative control if an IdM administrator is targeted. | ||||
| CVE-2026-74859 | 1 Redhat | 1 Enterprise Linux | 2026-09-09 | 6.8 Medium |
| The shell theme installer in gnome-tweaks extracts user-supplied ZIP archives without validating archive member paths. As a result, a crafted theme archive can write files outside ~/.themes by using ../ path traversal, absolute paths, or symlink entries. | ||||
| CVE-2024-9355 | 1 Redhat | 23 Amq Streams, Ansible Automation Platform, Container Native Virtualization and 20 more | 2026-09-09 | 6.5 Medium |
| A vulnerability was found in Golang FIPS OpenSSL. This flaw allows a malicious user to randomly cause an uninitialized buffer length variable with a zeroed buffer to be returned in FIPS mode. It may also be possible to force a false positive match between non-equal hashes when comparing a trusted computed hmac sum to an untrusted input sum if an attacker can send a zeroed buffer in place of a pre-computed sum. It is also possible to force a derived key to be all zeros instead of an unpredictable value. This may have follow-on implications for the Go TLS stack. | ||||
| CVE-2026-87853 | 1 Redhat | 2 Enterprise Linux, Openshift | 2026-09-09 | 7.5 High |
| A flaw was found in SSSD's IdP authentication provider. The eval_access_token_buf() function compares the OIDC subject identifier using strncmp() with the authenticated user's identifier length, performing a prefix comparison instead of an exact match. An attacker whose IdP identifier is a strict prefix of a target user's identifier can authenticate as the target user. | ||||
| CVE-2026-18649 | 1 Redhat | 4 Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus, Rhel E4s and 1 more | 2026-09-09 | 7.5 High |
| A flaw was found in the GStreamer gst-plugins-good package. The rtph264depay and rtph265depay RTP depayloader elements do not enforce a maximum size limit on the reassembly buffer used during fragmented RTP packet processing. A remote, unauthenticated attacker can send a continuous stream of RTP fragments without ever transmitting an end-of-fragment marker, causing the reassembly buffer to grow without bound until process memory is exhausted. This results in a denial of service through process termination. | ||||
| CVE-2026-14164 | 3 Libarchive, Red Hat, Redhat | 12 Libarchive, Enterprise Linux, Discovery and 9 more | 2026-09-09 | 7.5 High |
| A double free issue has been identified in libarchive's RAR5 reader. During parsing of a specially crafted RAR5 archive, the filtered_buf pointer may remain stale after being freed during unpacking state reinitialization. Subsequent processing of another archive entry can trigger a second free of the same memory region, resulting in a double-free condition. Successful exploitation may cause applications using the vulnerable libarchive API to terminate unexpectedly, leading to a denial of service. | ||||
