CVE-2026-31492 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-23 7.0 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: RDMA/irdma: Initialize free_qp completion before using it In irdma_create_qp, if ib_copy_to_udata fails, it will call irdma_destroy_qp to clean up which will attempt to wait on the free_qp completion, which is not initialized yet. Fix this by initializing the completion before the ib_copy_to_udata call.
CVE-2026-31435 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-23 7.0 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfs: Fix read abandonment during retry Under certain circumstances, all the remaining subrequests from a read request will get abandoned during retry. The abandonment process expects the 'subreq' variable to be set to the place to start abandonment from, but it doesn't always have a useful value (it will be uninitialised on the first pass through the loop and it may point to a deleted subrequest on later passes). Fix the first jump to "abandon:" to set subreq to the start of the first subrequest expected to need retry (which, in this abandonment case, turned out unexpectedly to no longer have NEED_RETRY set). Also clear the subreq pointer after discarding superfluous retryable subrequests to cause an oops if we do try to access it.
CVE-2025-13763 1 Redhat 1 Enterprise Linux 2026-04-23 5.7 Medium
Multiple uses of uninitialized variables were found in libopensc that may lead to information disclosure or application crash. An attack requires a crafted USB device or smart card that would present the system with specially crafted responses to the APDUs
CVE-2024-36898 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-23 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: gpiolib: cdev: fix uninitialised kfifo If a line is requested with debounce, and that results in debouncing in software, and the line is subsequently reconfigured to enable edge detection then the allocation of the kfifo to contain edge events is overlooked. This results in events being written to and read from an uninitialised kfifo. Read events are returned to userspace. Initialise the kfifo in the case where the software debounce is already active.
CVE-2026-6751 1 Mozilla 2 Firefox, Thunderbird 2026-04-22 7.3 High
Uninitialized memory in the Audio/Video: Web Codecs component. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 150, Firefox ESR 140.10, Thunderbird 150, and Thunderbird 140.10.
CVE-2026-6748 1 Mozilla 2 Firefox, Thunderbird 2026-04-22 9.8 Critical
Uninitialized memory in the Audio/Video: Web Codecs component. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 150, Firefox ESR 140.10, Thunderbird 150, and Thunderbird 140.10.
CVE-2025-21709 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-22 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: kernel: be more careful about dup_mmap() failures and uprobe registering If a memory allocation fails during dup_mmap(), the maple tree can be left in an unsafe state for other iterators besides the exit path. All the locks are dropped before the exit_mmap() call (in mm/mmap.c), but the incomplete mm_struct can be reached through (at least) the rmap finding the vmas which have a pointer back to the mm_struct. Up to this point, there have been no issues with being able to find an mm_struct that was only partially initialised. Syzbot was able to make the incomplete mm_struct fail with recent forking changes, so it has been proven unsafe to use the mm_struct that hasn't been initialised, as referenced in the link below. Although 8ac662f5da19f ("fork: avoid inappropriate uprobe access to invalid mm") fixed the uprobe access, it does not completely remove the race. This patch sets the MMF_OOM_SKIP to avoid the iteration of the vmas on the oom side (even though this is extremely unlikely to be selected as an oom victim in the race window), and sets MMF_UNSTABLE to avoid other potential users from using a partially initialised mm_struct. When registering vmas for uprobe, skip the vmas in an mm that is marked unstable. Modifying a vma in an unstable mm may cause issues if the mm isn't fully initialised.
CVE-2025-8027 2 Mozilla, Redhat 4 Firefox, Firefox Esr, Thunderbird and 1 more 2026-04-22 6.5 Medium
On 64-bit platforms IonMonkey-JIT only wrote 32 bits of the 64-bit return value space on the stack. Baseline-JIT, however, read the entire 64 bits. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 141, Firefox ESR 115.26, Firefox ESR 128.13, Firefox ESR 140.1, Thunderbird 141, Thunderbird 128.13, and Thunderbird 140.1.
CVE-2025-9181 1 Mozilla 3 Firefox, Firefox Esr, Thunderbird 2026-04-20 6.5 Medium
Uninitialized memory in the JavaScript Engine component. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 142, Firefox ESR 128.14, Firefox ESR 140.2, Thunderbird 142, Thunderbird 128.14, and Thunderbird 140.2.
CVE-2024-9355 1 Redhat 22 Amq Streams, Ansible Automation Platform, Container Native Virtualization and 19 more 2026-04-18 6.5 Medium
A vulnerability was found in Golang FIPS OpenSSL. This flaw allows a malicious user to randomly cause an uninitialized buffer length variable with a zeroed buffer to be returned in FIPS mode. It may also be possible to force a false positive match between non-equal hashes when comparing a trusted computed hmac sum to an untrusted input sum if an attacker can send a zeroed buffer in place of a pre-computed sum.  It is also possible to force a derived key to be all zeros instead of an unpredictable value.  This may have follow-on implications for the Go TLS stack.
CVE-2026-21690 2 Color, Internationalcolorconsortium 2 Iccdev, Iccdev 2026-04-18 6.3 Medium
iccDEV provides a set of libraries and tools that allow for the interaction, manipulation, and application of International Color Consortium (ICC) color management profiles. Versions prior to 2.3.1.2 have a Type Confusion vulnerability in `CIccTagXmlTagData::ToXml()`. This vulnerability affects users of the iccDEV library who process ICC color profiles. Version 2.3.1.2 contains a patch. No known workarounds are available.
CVE-2026-23156 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-18 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: efivarfs: fix error propagation in efivar_entry_get() efivar_entry_get() always returns success even if the underlying __efivar_entry_get() fails, masking errors. This may result in uninitialized heap memory being copied to userspace in the efivarfs_file_read() path. Fix it by returning the error from __efivar_entry_get().
CVE-2026-23057 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-17 7.0 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: vsock/virtio: Coalesce only linear skb vsock/virtio common tries to coalesce buffers in rx queue: if a linear skb (with a spare tail room) is followed by a small skb (length limited by GOOD_COPY_LEN = 128), an attempt is made to join them. Since the introduction of MSG_ZEROCOPY support, assumption that a small skb will always be linear is incorrect. In the zerocopy case, data is lost and the linear skb is appended with uninitialized kernel memory. Of all 3 supported virtio-based transports, only loopback-transport is affected. G2H virtio-transport rx queue operates on explicitly linear skbs; see virtio_vsock_alloc_linear_skb() in virtio_vsock_rx_fill(). H2G vhost-transport may allocate non-linear skbs, but only for sizes that are not considered for coalescence; see PAGE_ALLOC_COSTLY_ORDER in virtio_vsock_alloc_skb(). Ensure only linear skbs are coalesced. Note that skb_tailroom(last_skb) > 0 guarantees last_skb is linear.
CVE-2026-23140 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-17 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf, test_run: Subtract size of xdp_frame from allowed metadata size The xdp_frame structure takes up part of the XDP frame headroom, limiting the size of the metadata. However, in bpf_test_run, we don't take this into account, which makes it possible for userspace to supply a metadata size that is too large (taking up the entire headroom). If userspace supplies such a large metadata size in live packet mode, the xdp_update_frame_from_buff() call in xdp_test_run_init_page() call will fail, after which packet transmission proceeds with an uninitialised frame structure, leading to the usual Bad Stuff. The commit in the Fixes tag fixed a related bug where the second check in xdp_update_frame_from_buff() could fail, but did not add any additional constraints on the metadata size. Complete the fix by adding an additional check on the metadata size. Reorder the checks slightly to make the logic clearer and add a comment.
CVE-2026-1333 2 3ds, Dassault Systemes 2 Solidworks Edrawings, Solidworks Edrawings 2026-04-17 7.8 High
A Use of Uninitialized Variable vulnerability affecting the EPRT file reading procedure in SOLIDWORKS eDrawings from Release SOLIDWORKS Desktop 2025 through Release SOLIDWORKS Desktop 2026 could allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code while opening a specially crafted EPRT file.
CVE-2026-6311 2 Google, Microsoft 2 Chrome, Windows 2026-04-17 8.3 High
Uninitialized Use in Accessibility in Google Chrome on Windows prior to 147.0.7727.101 allowed a remote attacker who had compromised the renderer process to potentially perform a sandbox escape via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: High)
CVE-2026-20051 1 Cisco 1 Nx-os Software 2026-04-17 7.4 High
A vulnerability with the Ethernet VPN (EVPN) Layer 2 ingress packet processing of Cisco Nexus 3600 Platform Switches and Cisco Nexus 9500-R Series Switching Platforms could allow an unauthenticated, adjacent attacker to trigger a Layer 2 traffic loop. This vulnerability is due to a logic error when processing a crafted Layer 2 ingress frame. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a stream of crafted Ethernet frames through the targeted device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to cause a Layer 2 Virtual eXtensible LAN (VxLAN) traffic loop, which, in turn, could result in a denial of service (DoS) condition. This Layer 2 loop could oversubscribe the bandwidth on network interfaces, which would result in all data plane traffic being dropped. To exploit this vulnerability, the attacker must be Layer 2-adjacent to the affected device. Note: To stop active exploitation of this vulnerability, manual intervention is required to both stop the crafted traffic and flap all involved network interfaces. For additional assistance if a Layer 2 loop that is related to this vulnerability is suspected, contact the Cisco Technical Assistance Center (TAC) or the proper support provider.
CVE-2026-22188 2 Cmu, Panda3d 2 Panda3d, Panda3d 2026-04-16 5.5 Medium
Panda3D versions up to and including 1.10.16 deploy-stub contains a denial of service vulnerability due to unbounded stack allocation. The deploy-stub executable allocates argv_copy and argv_copy2 using alloca() based directly on the attacker-controlled argc value without validation. Supplying a large number of command-line arguments can exhaust stack space and propagate uninitialized stack memory into Python interpreter initialization, resulting in a reliable crash and undefined behavior.
CVE-2026-2806 1 Mozilla 2 Firefox, Thunderbird 2026-04-15 9.1 Critical
Uninitialized memory in the Graphics: Text component. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 148 and Thunderbird 148.
CVE-2026-34608 2 Emqx, Nanomq 2 Nanomq, Nanomq 2026-04-15 4.9 Medium
NanoMQ MQTT Broker (NanoMQ) is an all-around Edge Messaging Platform. Prior to version 0.24.10, in NanoMQ's webhook_inproc.c, the hook_work_cb() function processes nng messages by parsing the message body with cJSON_Parse(body). The body is obtained from nng_msg_body(msg), which is a binary buffer without a guaranteed null terminator. This leads to an out-of-bounds read (OOB read) as cJSON_Parse reads until it finds a \0, potentially accessing memory beyond the allocated buffer (e.g., nng_msg metadata or adjacent heap/stack). The issue is often masked by nng's allocation padding (extra 32 bytes of zeros for non-power-of-two sizes <1024 or non-aligned). The overflow is reliably triggered when the JSON payload length is a power-of-two >=1024 (no padding added). This issue has been patched in version 0.24.10.
