| CVE-2009-0781 | 2 Apache, Redhat | 3 Tomcat, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Application Server | 2025-04-09 | N/A |
| Cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in jsp/cal/cal2.jsp in the calendar application in the examples web application in Apache Tomcat 4.1.0 through 4.1.39, 5.5.0 through 5.5.27, and 6.0.0 through 6.0.18 allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the time parameter, related to "invalid HTML." | ||||
| CVE-2007-2449 | 2 Apache, Redhat | 4 Tomcat, Enterprise Linux, Network Satellite and 1 more | 2025-04-09 | N/A |
| Multiple cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities in certain JSP files in the examples web application in Apache Tomcat 4.0.0 through 4.0.6, 4.1.0 through 4.1.36, 5.0.0 through 5.0.30, 5.5.0 through 5.5.24, and 6.0.0 through 6.0.13 allow remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the portion of the URI after the ';' character, as demonstrated by a URI containing a "snp/snoop.jsp;" sequence. | ||||
| CVE-2006-7195 | 2 Apache, Redhat | 5 Tomcat, Enterprise Linux, Network Satellite and 2 more | 2025-04-09 | N/A |
| Cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in implicit-objects.jsp in Apache Tomcat 5.0.0 through 5.0.30 and 5.5.0 through 5.5.17 allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via certain header values. | ||||
| CVE-2007-4724 | 1 Apache | 1 Tomcat | 2025-04-09 | N/A |
| Cross-site request forgery (CSRF) vulnerability in cal2.jsp in the calendar examples application in Apache Tomcat 4.1.31 allows remote attackers to add events as arbitrary users via the time and description parameters. | ||||
| CVE-2007-6286 | 1 Apache | 1 Tomcat | 2025-04-09 | N/A |
| Apache Tomcat 5.5.11 through 5.5.25 and 6.0.0 through 6.0.15, when the native APR connector is used, does not properly handle an empty request to the SSL port, which allows remote attackers to trigger handling of "a duplicate copy of one of the recent requests," as demonstrated by using netcat to send the empty request. | ||||
| CVE-2008-4308 | 1 Apache | 1 Tomcat | 2025-04-09 | N/A |
| The doRead method in Apache Tomcat 4.1.32 through 4.1.34 and 5.5.10 through 5.5.20 does not return a -1 to indicate when a certain error condition has occurred, which can cause Tomcat to send POST content from one request to a different request. | ||||
| CVE-2007-3382 | 2 Apache, Redhat | 7 Tomcat, Certificate System, Enterprise Linux and 4 more | 2025-04-09 | N/A |
| Apache Tomcat 6.0.0 to 6.0.13, 5.5.0 to 5.5.24, 5.0.0 to 5.0.30, 4.1.0 to 4.1.36, and 3.3 to 3.3.2 treats single quotes ("'") as delimiters in cookies, which might cause sensitive information such as session IDs to be leaked and allow remote attackers to conduct session hijacking attacks. | ||||
| CVE-2009-0580 | 2 Apache, Redhat | 8 Tomcat, Certificate System, Enterprise Linux and 5 more | 2025-04-09 | N/A |
| Apache Tomcat 4.1.0 through 4.1.39, 5.5.0 through 5.5.27, and 6.0.0 through 6.0.18, when FORM authentication is used, allows remote attackers to enumerate valid usernames via requests to /j_security_check with malformed URL encoding of passwords, related to improper error checking in the (1) MemoryRealm, (2) DataSourceRealm, and (3) JDBCRealm authentication realms, as demonstrated by a % (percent) value for the j_password parameter. | ||||
| CVE-2007-3383 | 1 Apache | 1 Tomcat | 2025-04-09 | N/A |
| Cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in SendMailServlet in the examples web application (examples/jsp/mail/sendmail.jsp) in Apache Tomcat 4.0.0 through 4.0.6 and 4.1.0 through 4.1.36 allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the From field and possibly other fields, related to generation of error messages. | ||||
| CVE-2009-0033 | 2 Apache, Redhat | 7 Tomcat, Certificate System, Enterprise Linux and 4 more | 2025-04-09 | N/A |
| Apache Tomcat 4.1.0 through 4.1.39, 5.5.0 through 5.5.27, and 6.0.0 through 6.0.18, when the Java AJP connector and mod_jk load balancing are used, allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (application outage) via a crafted request with invalid headers, related to temporary blocking of connectors that have encountered errors, as demonstrated by an error involving a malformed HTTP Host header. | ||||
| CVE-2023-28709 | 4 Apache, Debian, Netapp and 1 more | 5 Tomcat, Debian Linux, 7-mode Transition Tool and 2 more | 2025-02-13 | 7.5 High |
| The fix for CVE-2023-24998 was incomplete for Apache Tomcat 11.0.0-M2 to 11.0.0-M4, 10.1.5 to 10.1.7, 9.0.71 to 9.0.73 and 8.5.85 to 8.5.87. If non-default HTTP connector settings were used such that the maxParameterCount could be reached using query string parameters and a request was submitted that supplied exactly maxParameterCount parameters in the query string, the limit for uploaded request parts could be bypassed with the potential for a denial of service to occur. | ||||
| CVE-2023-34981 | 1 Apache | 1 Tomcat | 2025-02-13 | 7.5 High |
| A regression in the fix for bug 66512 in Apache Tomcat 11.0.0-M5, 10.1.8, 9.0.74 and 8.5.88 meant that, if a response did not include any HTTP headers no AJP SEND_HEADERS messare woudl be sent for the response which in turn meant that at least one AJP proxy (mod_proxy_ajp) would use the response headers from the previous request leading to an information leak. | ||||
| CVE-2021-25329 | 4 Apache, Debian, Oracle and 1 more | 15 Tomcat, Debian Linux, Agile Plm and 12 more | 2025-02-13 | 7.0 High |
| The fix for CVE-2020-9484 was incomplete. When using Apache Tomcat 10.0.0-M1 to 10.0.0, 9.0.0.M1 to 9.0.41, 8.5.0 to 8.5.61 or 7.0.0. to 7.0.107 with a configuration edge case that was highly unlikely to be used, the Tomcat instance was still vulnerable to CVE-2020-9494. Note that both the previously published prerequisites for CVE-2020-9484 and the previously published mitigations for CVE-2020-9484 also apply to this issue. | ||||
| CVE-2021-25122 | 4 Apache, Debian, Oracle and 1 more | 15 Tomcat, Debian Linux, Agile Plm and 12 more | 2025-02-13 | 7.5 High |
| When responding to new h2c connection requests, Apache Tomcat versions 10.0.0-M1 to 10.0.0, 9.0.0.M1 to 9.0.41 and 8.5.0 to 8.5.61 could duplicate request headers and a limited amount of request body from one request to another meaning user A and user B could both see the results of user A's request. | ||||
| CVE-2021-24122 | 4 Apache, Debian, Oracle and 1 more | 6 Tomcat, Debian Linux, Agile Plm and 3 more | 2025-02-13 | 5.9 Medium |
| When serving resources from a network location using the NTFS file system, Apache Tomcat versions 10.0.0-M1 to 10.0.0-M9, 9.0.0.M1 to 9.0.39, 8.5.0 to 8.5.59 and 7.0.0 to 7.0.106 were susceptible to JSP source code disclosure in some configurations. The root cause was the unexpected behaviour of the JRE API File.getCanonicalPath() which in turn was caused by the inconsistent behaviour of the Windows API (FindFirstFileW) in some circumstances. | ||||
| CVE-2020-17527 | 5 Apache, Debian, Netapp and 2 more | 15 Tomcat, Debian Linux, Element Plug-in and 12 more | 2025-02-13 | 7.5 High |
| While investigating bug 64830 it was discovered that Apache Tomcat 10.0.0-M1 to 10.0.0-M9, 9.0.0-M1 to 9.0.39 and 8.5.0 to 8.5.59 could re-use an HTTP request header value from the previous stream received on an HTTP/2 connection for the request associated with the subsequent stream. While this would most likely lead to an error and the closure of the HTTP/2 connection, it is possible that information could leak between requests. | ||||
| CVE-2022-45143 | 2 Apache, Redhat | 4 Tomcat, Jboss Enterprise Web Server, Jboss Fuse and 1 more | 2024-11-21 | 7.5 High |
| The JsonErrorReportValve in Apache Tomcat 8.5.83, 9.0.40 to 9.0.68 and 10.1.0-M1 to 10.1.1 did not escape the type, message or description values. In some circumstances these are constructed from user provided data and it was therefore possible for users to supply values that invalidated or manipulated the JSON output. | ||||
| CVE-2022-34305 | 1 Apache | 1 Tomcat | 2024-11-21 | 6.1 Medium |
| In Apache Tomcat 10.1.0-M1 to 10.1.0-M16, 10.0.0-M1 to 10.0.22, 9.0.30 to 9.0.64 and 8.5.50 to 8.5.81 the Form authentication example in the examples web application displayed user provided data without filtering, exposing a XSS vulnerability. | ||||
| CVE-2022-29885 | 3 Apache, Debian, Oracle | 3 Tomcat, Debian Linux, Hospitality Cruise Shipboard Property Management System | 2024-11-21 | 7.5 High |
| The documentation of Apache Tomcat 10.1.0-M1 to 10.1.0-M14, 10.0.0-M1 to 10.0.20, 9.0.13 to 9.0.62 and 8.5.38 to 8.5.78 for the EncryptInterceptor incorrectly stated it enabled Tomcat clustering to run over an untrusted network. This was not correct. While the EncryptInterceptor does provide confidentiality and integrity protection, it does not protect against all risks associated with running over any untrusted network, particularly DoS risks. | ||||
| CVE-2022-25762 | 3 Apache, Oracle, Redhat | 3 Tomcat, Agile Plm, Enterprise Linux | 2024-11-21 | 8.6 High |
| If a web application sends a WebSocket message concurrently with the WebSocket connection closing when running on Apache Tomcat 8.5.0 to 8.5.75 or Apache Tomcat 9.0.0.M1 to 9.0.20, it is possible that the application will continue to use the socket after it has been closed. The error handling triggered in this case could cause the a pooled object to be placed in the pool twice. This could result in subsequent connections using the same object concurrently which could result in data being returned to the wrong use and/or other errors. | ||||
