CVE-2024-13991 1 Huijietong 1 Cloud Video Platform 2026-04-15 N/A
Huijietong Cloud Video Platform contains a path traversal vulnerability that allows an unauthenticated attacker can supply arbitrary file paths to the `fullPath` parameter of the `/fileDownload?action=downloadBackupFile` endpoint and retrieve files from the server filesystem. VulnCheck has observed this vulnerability being exploited in the wild.
CVE-2025-32018 2026-04-15 8.1 High
Cursor is a code editor built for programming with AI. In versions 0.45.0 through 0.48.6, the Cursor app introduced a regression affecting the set of file paths the Cursor Agent is permitted to modify automatically. Under specific conditions, the agent could be prompted, either directly by the user or via maliciously crafted context, to automatically write to files outside of the opened workspace. This behavior required deliberate prompting, making successful exploitation highly impractical in real-world scenarios. Furthermore, the edited file was still displayed in the UI as usual for user review, making it unlikely for the edit to go unnoticed by the user. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.48.7.
CVE-2025-8869 1 Python 2 Pip, Python 2026-04-15 5.3 Medium
When extracting a tar archive pip may not check symbolic links point into the extraction directory if the tarfile module doesn't implement PEP 706. Note that upgrading pip to a "fixed" version for this vulnerability doesn't fix all known vulnerabilities that are remediated by using a Python version that implements PEP 706. Note that this is a vulnerability in pip's fallback implementation of tar extraction for Python versions that don't implement PEP 706 and therefore are not secure to all vulnerabilities in the Python 'tarfile' module. If you're using a Python version that implements PEP 706 then pip doesn't use the "vulnerable" fallback code. Mitigations include upgrading to a version of pip that includes the fix, upgrading to a Python version that implements PEP 706 (Python >=3.9.17, >=3.10.12, >=3.11.4, or >=3.12), applying the linked patch, or inspecting source distributions (sdists) before installation as is already a best-practice.
CVE-2025-11233 1 Rust-lang 1 Rust 2026-04-15 6.5 Medium
Starting from Rust 1.87.0 and before Rust 1.89.0, the tier 3 Cygwin target (`x86_64-pc-cygwin`) didn't correctly handle path separators, causing the standard library's Path API to ignore path components separated by backslashes. Due to this, programs compiled for Cygwin that validate paths could misbehave, potentially allowing path traversal attacks or malicious filesystem operations. Rust 1.89.0 fixes the issue by handling both Win32 and Unix style paths in the standard library for the Cygwin target. While we assess the severity of this vulnerability as "medium", please note that the tier 3 Cygwin compilation target is only available when building it from source: no pre-built binaries are distributed by the Rust project, and it cannot be installed through Rustup. Unless you manually compiled the `x86_64-pc-cygwin` target you are not affected by this vulnerability. Users of the tier 1 MinGW target (`x86_64-pc-windows-gnu`) are also explicitly not affected.
CVE-2024-34521 2026-04-15 3.5 Low
A directory traversal vulnerability exists in the Mavenir SCE Application Provisioning Portal, version PORTAL-LBS-R_1_0_24_0, which allows an administrative user to access system files with the file permissions of the privileged system user running the application.
CVE-2025-54433 1 Bugsink 1 Bugsink 2026-04-15 N/A
Bugsink is a self-hosted error tracking service. In versions 1.4.2 and below, 1.5.0 through 1.5.4, 1.6.0 through 1.6.3, and 1.7.0 through 1.7.3, ingestion paths construct file locations directly from untrusted event_id input without validation. A specially crafted event_id can result in paths outside the intended directory, potentially allowing file overwrite or creation in arbitrary locations. Submitting such input requires access to a valid DSN, potentially exposing them. If Bugsink runs in a container, the effect is confined to the container’s filesystem. In non-containerized setups, the overwrite may affect other parts of the system accessible to that user. This is fixed in versions 1.4.3, 1.5.5, 1.6.4 and 1.7.4.
CVE-2014-125125 1 A10 Networks 1 Ax Series Loadbalancer 2026-04-15 N/A
A path traversal vulnerability exists in A10 Networks AX Loadbalancer versions 2.6.1-GR1-P5, 2.7.0, and earlier. The vulnerability resides in the handling of the filename parameter in the /xml/downloads endpoint, which fails to properly sanitize user input. An unauthenticated attacker can exploit this flaw by sending crafted HTTP requests containing directory traversal sequences to read arbitrary files outside the intended directory. The files returned by the vulnerable endpoint are deleted from the system after retrieval. This can lead to unauthorized disclosure of sensitive information such as SSL certificates and private keys, as well as unintended file deletion.
CVE-2025-13875 1 Yohann0617 1 Oci-helper 2026-04-15 6.3 Medium
A weakness has been identified in Yohann0617 oci-helper up to 3.2.4. This issue affects the function addCfg of the file src/main/java/com/yohann/ocihelper/service/impl/OciServiceImpl.java of the component OCI Configuration Upload. Executing manipulation of the argument File can lead to path traversal. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploit has been made available to the public and could be exploited. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way.
CVE-2025-58158 2026-04-15 8.8 High
Harness Open Source is an end-to-end developer platform with Source Control Management, CI/CD Pipelines, Hosted Developer Environments, and Artifact Registries. Prior to version 3.3.0, Open Source Harness git LFS server (Gitness) exposes api to retrieve and upload files via git LFS. Implementation of upload git LFS file api is vulnerable to arbitrary file write. Due to improper sanitization for upload path, a malicious authenticated user who has access to Harness Gitness server api can use a crafted upload request to write arbitrary file to any location on file system, may even compromise the server. Users using git LFS are vulnerable. This issue has been patched in version 3.3.0.
CVE-2025-11337 2026-04-15 5.3 Medium
A vulnerability was detected in Four-Faith Water Conservancy Informatization Platform up to 2.2. This affects an unknown part of the file /aloneReport/index.do/../../aloneReport/download.do;othersusrlogout.do. Performing manipulation of the argument fileName results in path traversal. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. The exploit is now public and may be used. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way.
CVE-2026-35167 2 Kedro-org, Linuxfoundation 2 Kedro, Kedro 2026-04-14 7.1 High
Kedro is a toolbox for production-ready data science. Prior to 1.3.0, the _get_versioned_path() method in kedro/io/core.py constructs filesystem paths by directly interpolating user-supplied version strings without sanitization. Because version strings are used as path components, traversal sequences such as ../ are preserved and can escape the intended versioned dataset directory. This is reachable through multiple entry points: catalog.load(..., version=...), DataCatalog.from_config(..., load_versions=...), and the CLI via kedro run --load-versions=dataset:../../../secrets. An attacker who can influence the version string can force Kedro to load files from outside the intended version directory, enabling unauthorized file reads, data poisoning, or cross-tenant data access in shared environments. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.3.0.
CVE-2019-25471 2 Filethingie, Leefish 2 Filethingie, File Thingie 2026-04-14 9.8 Critical
FileThingie 2.5.7 contains an arbitrary file upload vulnerability that allows attackers to upload malicious files by sending ZIP archives through the ft2.php endpoint. Attackers can upload ZIP files containing PHP shells, use the unzip functionality to extract them into accessible directories, and execute arbitrary commands through the extracted PHP files.
CVE-2026-34750 1 Payloadcms 1 Payload 2026-04-14 6.5 Medium
Payload is a free and open source headless content management system. Prior to version 3.78.0 in @payloadcms/storage-azure, @payloadcms/storage-gcs, @payloadcms/storage-r2, and @payloadcms/storage-s3, the client-upload signed-URL endpoints for S3, GCS, Azure, and R2 did not properly sanitize filenames. An attacker could craft filenames to escape the intended storage location. This issue has been patched in version 3.78.0 for @payloadcms/storage-azure, @payloadcms/storage-gcs, @payloadcms/storage-r2, and @payloadcms/storage-s3.
CVE-2026-34522 1 Sillytavern 1 Sillytavern 2026-04-14 8.1 High
SillyTavern is a locally installed user interface that allows users to interact with text generation large language models, image generation engines, and text-to-speech voice models. Prior to version 1.17.0, a path traversal vulnerability in /api/chats/import allows an authenticated attacker to write attacker-controlled files outside the intended chats directory by injecting traversal sequences into character_name. This issue has been patched in version 1.17.0.
CVE-2026-34523 1 Sillytavern 1 Sillytavern 2026-04-14 5.3 Medium
SillyTavern is a locally installed user interface that allows users to interact with text generation large language models, image generation engines, and text-to-speech voice models. Prior to version 1.17.0, a path traversal vulnerability in the static file route handler allows any unauthenticated user to determine whether files exist anywhere on the server's filesystem. by sending percent-encoded "../" sequences (%2E%2E%2F) in requests to static file routes, an attacker can check for the existence of files. This issue has been patched in version 1.17.0.
CVE-2026-34524 1 Sillytavern 1 Sillytavern 2026-04-14 8.3 High
SillyTavern is a locally installed user interface that allows users to interact with text generation large language models, image generation engines, and text-to-speech voice models. Prior to version 1.17.0, a path traversal vulnerability in chat endpoints allows an authenticated attacker to read and delete arbitrary files under their user data root (for example secrets.json and settings.json) by supplying avatar_url="..". This issue has been patched in version 1.17.0.
CVE-2026-34591 1 Python-poetry 1 Poetry 2026-04-14 6.5 Medium
Poetry is a dependency manager for Python. From version 1.4.0 to before version 2.3.3, a crafted wheel can contain ../ paths that Poetry writes to disk without containment checks, allowing arbitrary file write with the privileges of the Poetry process. It is reachable from untrusted package artifacts during normal install flows. (Normally, installing a malicious wheel is not sufficient for execution of malicious code. Malicious code will only be executed after installation if the malicious package is imported or invoked by the user.). This issue has been patched in version 2.3.3.
CVE-2026-34607 1 Emlog 1 Emlog 2026-04-14 7.2 High
Emlog is an open source website building system. In versions 2.6.2 and prior, a path traversal vulnerability exists in the emUnZip() function (include/lib/common.php:793). When extracting ZIP archives (plugin/template uploads, backup imports), the function calls $zip->extractTo($path) without sanitizing ZIP entry names. An authenticated admin can upload a crafted ZIP containing entries with ../ sequences to write arbitrary files to the server filesystem, including PHP webshells, achieving Remote Code Execution (RCE). At time of publication, there are no publicly available patches.
CVE-2026-35174 2 Chyrplite, Xenocrat Project 2 Chyrp Lite, Chyrp-lite 2026-04-14 9.1 Critical
Chyrp Lite is an ultra-lightweight blogging engine. Prior to 2026.01, a path traversal vulnerability exists in the administration console that allows an administrator or a user with Change Settings permission to change the uploads path to any folder. This vulnerability allows the user to download any file on the server, including config.json.php with database credentials and overwrite critical system files, leading to remote code execution. This vulnerability is fixed in 2026.01.
CVE-2025-68143 2 Lfprojects, Modelcontextprotocol 2 Model Context Protocol Servers, Servers 2026-04-14 8.8 High
Model Context Protocol Servers is a collection of reference implementations for the model context protocol (MCP). In mcp-server-git versions prior to 2025.9.25, the git_init tool accepted arbitrary filesystem paths and created Git repositories without validating the target location. Unlike other tools which required an existing repository, git_init could operate on any directory accessible to the server process, making those directories eligible for subsequent git operations. The tool was removed entirely, as the server is intended to operate on existing repositories only. Users are advised to upgrade to 2025.9.25 or newer to remediate this issue.
