|---|---|---|---|---|
| CVE-2017-1000083 | 3 Debian, Gnome, Redhat | 9 Debian Linux, Evince, Enterprise Linux and 6 more | 2025-04-20 | N/A |
| backend/comics/comics-document.c (aka the comic book backend) in GNOME Evince before 3.24.1 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands via a .cbt file that is a TAR archive containing a filename beginning with a "--" command-line option substring, as demonstrated by a --checkpoint-action=exec=bash at the beginning of the filename. | ||||
| CVE-2016-9811 | 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Gstreamer and 1 more | 10 Debian Linux, Fedora, Gstreamer and 7 more | 2025-04-20 | 4.7 Medium |
| The windows_icon_typefind function in gst-plugins-base in GStreamer before 1.10.2, when G_SLICE is set to always-malloc, allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (out-of-bounds read) via a crafted ico file. | ||||
| CVE-2017-9788 | 6 Apache, Apple, Debian and 3 more | 18 Http Server, Mac Os X, Debian Linux and 15 more | 2025-04-20 | N/A |
| In Apache httpd before 2.2.34 and 2.4.x before 2.4.27, the value placeholder in [Proxy-]Authorization headers of type 'Digest' was not initialized or reset before or between successive key=value assignments by mod_auth_digest. Providing an initial key with no '=' assignment could reflect the stale value of uninitialized pool memory used by the prior request, leading to leakage of potentially confidential information, and a segfault in other cases resulting in denial of service. | ||||
| CVE-2016-9560 | 3 Debian, Jasper Project, Redhat | 9 Debian Linux, Jasper, Enterprise Linux and 6 more | 2025-04-20 | 7.8 High |
| Stack-based buffer overflow in the jpc_tsfb_getbands2 function in jpc_tsfb.c in JasPer before 1.900.30 allows remote attackers to have unspecified impact via a crafted image. | ||||
| CVE-2017-12613 | 3 Apache, Debian, Redhat | 17 Portable Runtime, Debian Linux, Enterprise Linux and 14 more | 2025-04-20 | 7.1 High |
| When apr_time_exp*() or apr_os_exp_time*() functions are invoked with an invalid month field value in Apache Portable Runtime APR 1.6.2 and prior, out of bounds memory may be accessed in converting this value to an apr_time_exp_t value, potentially revealing the contents of a different static heap value or resulting in program termination, and may represent an information disclosure or denial of service vulnerability to applications which call these APR functions with unvalidated external input. | ||||
| CVE-2016-9446 | 3 Fedoraproject, Gstreamer Project, Redhat | 9 Fedora, Gstreamer, Enterprise Linux and 6 more | 2025-04-20 | 7.5 High |
| The vmnc decoder in the gstreamer does not initialize the render canvas, which allows remote attackers to obtain sensitive information as demonstrated by thumbnailing a simple 1 frame vmnc movie that does not draw to the allocated render canvas. | ||||
| CVE-2017-5208 | 3 Debian, Icoutils Project, Redhat | 9 Debian Linux, Icoutils, Enterprise Linux and 6 more | 2025-04-20 | N/A |
| Integer overflow in the wrestool program in icoutils before 0.31.1 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (memory corruption) via a crafted executable, which triggers a denial of service (application crash) or the possibility of execution of arbitrary code. | ||||
| CVE-2017-10285 | 4 Debian, Netapp, Oracle and 1 more | 33 Debian Linux, Active Iq Unified Manager, Cloud Backup and 30 more | 2025-04-20 | 9.6 Critical |
| Vulnerability in the Java SE, Java SE Embedded component of Oracle Java SE (subcomponent: RMI). Supported versions that are affected are Java SE: 6u161, 7u151, 8u144 and 9; Java SE Embedded: 8u144. Easily exploitable vulnerability allows unauthenticated attacker with network access via multiple protocols to compromise Java SE, Java SE Embedded. Successful attacks require human interaction from a person other than the attacker and while the vulnerability is in Java SE, Java SE Embedded, attacks may significantly impact additional products. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in takeover of Java SE, Java SE Embedded. Note: This vulnerability applies to Java deployments, typically in clients running sandboxed Java Web Start applications or sandboxed Java applets, that load and run untrusted code (e.g., code that comes from the internet) and rely on the Java sandbox for security. This vulnerability does not apply to Java deployments, typically in servers, that load and run only trusted code (e.g., code installed by an administrator). CVSS 3.0 Base Score 9.6 (Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.0/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:C/C:H/I:H/A:H). | ||||
| CVE-2017-1000116 | 3 Debian, Mercurial, Redhat | 9 Debian Linux, Mercurial, Enterprise Linux and 6 more | 2025-04-20 | N/A |

| CVE-2017-1000366 | 8 Debian, Gnu, Mcafee and 5 more | 26 Debian Linux, Glibc, Web Gateway and 23 more | 2025-04-20 | N/A |
| glibc contains a vulnerability that allows specially crafted LD_LIBRARY_PATH values to manipulate the heap/stack, causing them to alias, potentially resulting in arbitrary code execution. Please note that additional hardening changes have been made to glibc to prevent manipulation of stack and heap memory but these issues are not directly exploitable, as such they have not been given a CVE. This affects glibc 2.25 and earlier. | ||||

| CVE-2017-1000410 | 3 Debian, Linux, Redhat | 13 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux and 10 more | 2025-04-20 | N/A |
| The Linux kernel version 3.3-rc1 and later is affected by a vulnerability lies in the processing of incoming L2CAP commands - ConfigRequest, and ConfigResponse messages. This info leak is a result of uninitialized stack variables that may be returned to an attacker in their uninitialized state. By manipulating the code flows that precede the handling of these configuration messages, an attacker can also gain some control over which data will be held in the uninitialized stack variables. This can allow him to bypass KASLR, and stack canaries protection - as both pointers and stack canaries may be leaked in this manner. Combining this vulnerability (for example) with the previously disclosed RCE vulnerability in L2CAP configuration parsing (CVE-2017-1000251) may allow an attacker to exploit the RCE against kernels which were built with the above mitigations. These are the specifics of this vulnerability: In the function l2cap_parse_conf_rsp and in the function l2cap_parse_conf_req the following variable is declared without initialization: struct l2cap_conf_efs efs; In addition, when parsing input configuration parameters in both of these functions, the switch case for handling EFS elements may skip the memcpy call that will write to the efs variable: ... case L2CAP_CONF_EFS: if (olen == sizeof(efs)) memcpy(&efs, (void *)val, olen); ... The olen in the above if is attacker controlled, and regardless of that if, in both of these functions the efs variable would eventually be added to the outgoing configuration request that is being built: l2cap_add_conf_opt(&ptr, L2CAP_CONF_EFS, sizeof(efs), (unsigned long) &efs); So by sending a configuration request, or response, that contains an L2CAP_CONF_EFS element, but with an element length that is not sizeof(efs) - the memcpy to the uninitialized efs variable can be avoided, and the uninitialized variable would be returned to the attacker (16 bytes). | ||||
