CVE-2026-71980 1 Belledonnecommunications 1 Bcg729 2026-08-21 7.5 High
Belledonne Communications bcg729 through 1.1.2 contains an out-of-bounds read vulnerability in the decodeSIDframe() function in src/cng.c that allows unauthenticated network-adjacent attackers to trigger a heap read beyond buffer boundaries by sending a zero-length comfort-noise RTP payload. A zero-length payload causes an integer underflow in the uint8_t filter order calculation, which wraps to 255 and is clamped to 10, causing the function to unconditionally read 11 bytes from a zero-byte buffer, resulting in media process termination or silent consumption of adjacent heap memory as reflection coefficients.
CVE-2026-74238 1 Tier4 1 Nebula 2026-08-21 7.5 High
TIER IV Nebula through 1.2.0 contains an out-of-bounds read vulnerability in the Vlp32Decoder::unpack() function that allows unauthenticated remote attackers to cause the decoder to read past the end of a received UDP buffer into adjacent heap memory by sending a short UDP datagram. Attackers can send a malformed datagram to the Velodyne UDP sensor port, which lacks sender-address restrictions present in other drivers, causing fabricated points derived from heap memory contents to be silently published into downstream PointCloud2 messages consumed by Autoware nodes.
CVE-2026-50126 1 Knmi 1 Adaguc-server 2026-08-21 4 Medium
Adaguc-server is an open source geographical information system to visualize, combine, compare and share real-time meteorological, climatological and remote sensing data via OGC standards. Versions prior to 7.2.2 crash with a memory-safety fault when it parses a GeoJSON document whose geometry contains a malformed coordinate. The coordinate parser in `adagucserverEC/CConvertGeoJSON.cpp` indexes `pt.u.array.values[0]` and `pt.u.array.values[1]` and uses `polygon.u.array.length` as a loop bound without first validating the JSON node type or the coordinate length. A coordinate that is an empty array, a one-element array, a scalar, or `null` leads to an out-of-bounds heap read or a NULL pointer dereference. The same unchecked pattern is present in four geometry branches: `Polygon`, `LineString`, `MultiLineString` and `MultiPolygon`. The vulnerable parser runs whenever the server processes a local GeoJSON file, either a configured GeoJSON dataset or a GeoJSON file exposed through the `AutoResource` feature and requested by an unauthenticated WMS request. A crafted GeoJSON file reliably crashes the backend process that handles that request. Version 7.2.2 patches the vulnerability.
CVE-2026-53587 1 Libgit2 1 Libgit2 2026-08-21 7.5 High
libgit2 is a portable C implementation of the Git core methods provided as a linkable library with a solid API, allowing to build Git functionality into your application. Prior to 1.8.6 and 1.9.5, libgit2 performs a fixed-size strncmp in set_data in src/libgit2/transports/smart_pkt.c without first verifying that the smart-protocol pkt-line capability buffer contains 14 bytes. A malicious Git server can make bytes after the pkt-line complete object-format=, causing format_str to advance beyond the pkt-line and the following memchr length calculation to underflow. The resulting heap out-of-bounds walk can crash a client during the first refs-advertisement packet over HTTP, HTTPS, SSH, or the Git protocol. This issue is fixed in versions 1.8.6 and 1.9.5.
CVE-2026-54616 1 M2team 1 Nanazip 2026-08-20 7.1 High
NanaZip is the 7-Zip derivative intended for the modern Windows experience. From version 1.0.88.0 until stable version 6.0.1698.0 and preview version 6.5.1742.0, the Lz4Decode function in NanaZip.Core/SevenZip/CPP/7zip/Archive/SquashfsHandler.cpp rejects only a zero return from LZ4_decompress_safe even though malformed input produces a negative error value. The negative int is converted to the unsigned SizeT destLen and then truncated into outBufWasWrittenSize, causing ReadBlock to trust an attacker-inflated _cachedUnpackBlockSize. During fragment extraction, an attacker-controlled inode Offset can make memcpy read beyond the _cachedBlock heap allocation and place adjacent heap contents in the extracted file, or crash the process. This issue is fixed in stable version 6.0.1698.0 and preview version 6.5.1742.0.
CVE-2026-71084 1 Oracle 3 Mysql Connector/odbc, Mysql Connector\/odbc, Mysql Connectors 2026-08-20 6.8 Medium

CVE-2026-16707 1 Ibm 2 Power Systems Firmware, Powervm Hypervisor 2026-08-20 8.2 High
IBM PowerVM Hypervisor FW1120.00, FW1110.00 through FW1110.30, FW1060.00 through FW1060.80, and FW950.00 through FW950.H2 is affected by a vulnerability in the service processor mailbox interface. An attacker with authenticated service-level access to the FSP can send a specially crafted mailbox message to read or modify arbitrary regions of Hostboot memory, compromising the host firmware boot stack and the hypervisor subsequently loaded by it. Successful exploitation results in a confidentiality, integrity, and availability impact to the managed system.
CVE-2026-75146 1 Ffmpeg 1 Ffmpeg 2026-08-20 8.1 High
FFmpeg before commit 65b0dab contains an out-of-bounds read in the DASH demuxer (libavformat/dashdec.c). When a live DASH manifest is refreshed with a startNumber that is lower than the previous value, the current sequence number is driven negative. The fragment retrieval function checked only the upper bound before indexing the fragments array, allowing a negative index to be used and causing an out-of-bounds read. A malicious or misconfigured DASH server can trigger this by serving a live manifest with a decreasing startNumber across a manifest refresh.

CVE-2026-74567 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-19 7.1 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: keys: fix out-of-bounds read in keyring_get_key_chunk() For description-level chunks keyring_get_key_chunk() advances the read pointer by level * sizeof(long) past the inline prefix but only bounds-checks the prefix, so a long enough key description is read past its kmemdup(desc, desc_len + 1) allocation. Compute the full byte offset and bounds-check the description against it before reading. The walk only reaches a description-level chunk when two keys collide through the hash, x, type and domain_tag chunks, so this is reached from an unprivileged add_key(2) with a crafted pair of same-type keys whose index hashes collide; KASAN reports a slab-out-of-bounds read.
CVE-2026-74553 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-19 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: hwmon: (nct6775-core) Fix number of temperature registers for NCT6116 Unlike NCT6106, NCT6116 only has three temperature registers, and with it only three temperature source and temperature source configuration registers. The register addresses match those of NCT6106 and can be re-used. The code used a separate array to list the temperature source registers for NCT6116, but used the size of the NCT6106 register array to set the number of registers. The NCT6106 register array provides six addresses, while the temperature source register array for NCT6116 only provides three addresses. This causes a KASAN report. BUG: KASAN: global-out-of-bounds in nct6775_probe+0x936/0x46f0 [nct6775] Read of size 2 at addr ffffffffc19561a6 by task modprobe/954 ... Call Trace: dump_stack+0x7d/0xa7 print_address_description.constprop.0+0x1c/0x220 ? __kasan_kmalloc.constprop.0+0xc9/0xd0 ? __kmalloc_node_track_caller+0x194/0x5b0 ? nct6775_probe+0x936/0x46f0 [nct6775] ? nct6775_probe+0x936/0x46f0 [nct6775] ... Fix the problem by hard-coding the number of temperature and temperature configuration registers to three for NCT6116. Drop the unnecessary NCT6116_REG_TEMP_SOURCE array and re-use NCT6106_REG_TEMP_SOURCE.
CVE-2026-74485 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-19 7.1 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: binfmt_misc: reject a flag character as the field delimiter The registration string starts with a user chosen delimiter that separates the individual fields. So that the field parsers terminate even on a truncated string create_entry() pads the buffer with that same delimiter: memset(buf + count, del, 8); Most fields are scanned for the delimiter with strchr()/scanarg() and happily stop on the padding. The flags field is different: instead of scanning for the delimiter check_special_flags() consumes the flag characters 'P', 'O', 'C' and 'F' and stops at the first byte that is none of them, relying on the trailing delimiter to end the scan. If the delimiter is itself a flag character the padding no longer acts as a terminator. The scan swallows all eight padding bytes and keeps reading past the end of the allocation until it hits a byte that is not a flag character. For example registering PaPEPPxPPiP with 'P' as the delimiter (name "a", type extension, magic "x", interpreter "i", empty flags) leaves the flag scan running off the end of the buffer. The registration is rejected in the end because the parser does not stop exactly at buf + count, but only after the out of bounds read has already happened. With an unlucky allocation layout the scan can walk into an unmapped page; under KASAN it is reported as a slab out of bounds read. binfmt_misc mounts are available to unprivileged users in a user namespace so the read is reachable without privileges. Reject a delimiter that is one of the flag characters up front. Such a registration was always rejected anyway, only after the out of bounds read, so no valid registration string changes meaning.
