CVE-2024-56533 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2025-11-03 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ALSA: usx2y: Use snd_card_free_when_closed() at disconnection The USB disconnect callback is supposed to be short and not too-long waiting. OTOH, the current code uses snd_card_free() at disconnection, but this waits for the close of all used fds, hence it can take long. It eventually blocks the upper layer USB ioctls, which may trigger a soft lockup. An easy workaround is to replace snd_card_free() with snd_card_free_when_closed(). This variant returns immediately while the release of resources is done asynchronously by the card device release at the last close.
CVE-2024-56532 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2025-11-03 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ALSA: us122l: Use snd_card_free_when_closed() at disconnection The USB disconnect callback is supposed to be short and not too-long waiting. The loop of us122l->mmap_count check is dropped as well. The check is useless for the asynchronous operation with *_when_closed().
CVE-2024-56531 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2025-11-03 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ALSA: caiaq: Use snd_card_free_when_closed() at disconnection The USB disconnect callback is supposed to be short and not too-long waiting. This patch also splits the code to the disconnect and the free phases; the former is called immediately at the USB disconnect callback while the latter is called from the card destructor.
CVE-2025-31650 2 Apache, Redhat 2 Tomcat, Jboss Enterprise Web Server 2025-11-03 7.5 High
Improper Input Validation vulnerability in Apache Tomcat. Incorrect error handling for some invalid HTTP priority headers resulted in incomplete clean-up of the failed request which created a memory leak. A large number of such requests could trigger an OutOfMemoryException resulting in a denial of service. This issue affects Apache Tomcat: from 9.0.76 through 9.0.102, from 10.1.10 through 10.1.39, from 11.0.0-M2 through 11.0.5. The following versions were EOL at the time the CVE was created but are known to be affected: 8.5.90 though 8.5.100. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 9.0.104, 10.1.40 or 11.0.6 which fix the issue.
CVE-2025-21924 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2025-11-03 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: hns3: make sure ptp clock is unregister and freed if hclge_ptp_get_cycle returns an error During the initialization of ptp, hclge_ptp_get_cycle might return an error and returned directly without unregister clock and free it. To avoid that, call hclge_ptp_destroy_clock to unregist and free clock if hclge_ptp_get_cycle failed.

CVE-2025-22106 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2025-11-03 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: vmxnet3: unregister xdp rxq info in the reset path vmxnet3 does not unregister xdp rxq info in the vmxnet3_reset_work() code path as vmxnet3_rq_destroy() is not invoked in this code path. So, we get below message with a backtrace. Missing unregister, handled but fix driver WARNING: CPU:48 PID: 500 at net/core/xdp.c:182 __xdp_rxq_info_reg+0x93/0xf0 This patch fixes the problem by moving the unregister code of XDP from vmxnet3_rq_destroy() to vmxnet3_rq_cleanup().
CVE-2023-42794 2 Apache, Redhat 4 Tomcat, Enterprise Linux, Jboss Enterprise Web Server and 1 more 2025-10-29 5.9 Medium
Incomplete Cleanup vulnerability in Apache Tomcat. The internal fork of Commons FileUpload packaged with Apache Tomcat 9.0.70 through 9.0.80 and 8.5.85 through 8.5.93 included an unreleased, in progress refactoring that exposed a potential denial of service on Windows if a web application opened a stream for an uploaded file but failed to close the stream. The file would never be deleted from disk creating the possibility of an eventual denial of service due to the disk being full. Other, EOL versions may also be affected. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 9.0.81 onwards or 8.5.94 onwards, which fixes the issue.
CVE-2023-42795 3 Apache, Debian, Redhat 6 Accumulo, Tomcat, Debian Linux and 3 more 2025-10-29 5.3 Medium
Incomplete Cleanup vulnerability in Apache Tomcat. When recycling various internal objects in Apache Tomcat from 11.0.0-M1 through 11.0.0-M11, from 10.1.0-M1 through 10.1.13, from 9.0.0-M1 through 9.0.80 and from 8.5.0 through 8.5.93, an error could cause Tomcat to skip some parts of the recycling process leading to information leaking from the current request/response to the next. Older, EOL versions may also be affected. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 11.0.0-M12 onwards, 10.1.14 onwards, 9.0.81 onwards or 8.5.94 onwards, which fixes the issue.

CVE-2023-52929 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2025-10-28 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nvmem: core: fix cleanup after dev_set_name() If dev_set_name() fails, we leak nvmem->wp_gpio as the cleanup does not put this. While a minimal fix for this would be to add the gpiod_put() call, we can do better if we split device_register(), and use the tested nvmem_release() cleanup code by initialising the device early, and putting the device. This results in a slightly larger fix, but results in clear code. Note: this patch depends on "nvmem: core: initialise nvmem->id early" and "nvmem: core: remove nvmem_config wp_gpio". [Srini: Fixed subject line and error code handing with wp_gpio while applying.]

CVE-2023-52791 2 Linux, Redhat 3 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Eus 2025-09-26 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: i2c: core: Run atomic i2c xfer when !preemptible Since bae1d3a05a8b, i2c transfers are non-atomic if preemption is disabled. However, non-atomic i2c transfers require preemption (e.g. in wait_for_completion() while waiting for the DMA). panic() calls preempt_disable_notrace() before calling emergency_restart(). Therefore, if an i2c device is used for the restart, the xfer should be atomic. This avoids warnings like: [ 12.667612] WARNING: CPU: 1 PID: 1 at kernel/rcu/tree_plugin.h:318 rcu_note_context_switch+0x33c/0x6b0 [ 12.676926] Voluntary context switch within RCU read-side critical section! ... CVE-2025-20293 1 Cisco 3 Catalyst 9800, Catalyst 9800-cl Wireless Controllers For Cloud, Ios Xe Software 2025-09-26 5.3 Medium
A vulnerability in the Day One setup process of Cisco IOS XE Software for Catalyst 9800 Series Wireless Controllers for Cloud (9800-CL) could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to access the public-key infrastructure (PKI) server that is running on an affected device. This vulnerability is due to incomplete cleanup upon completion of the Day One setup process. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending Simple Certificate Enrollment Protocol (SCEP) requests to an affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to request a certificate from the virtual wireless controller and then use the acquired certificate to join an attacker-controlled device to the virtual wireless controller.
