| The Membership Plugin – Restrict Content plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Privilege Escalation in all versions up to, and including, 3.2.20. This is due to the `rcp_setup_registration_init()` function accepting any membership level ID via the `rcp_level` POST parameter without validating that the level is active or that payment is required. Combined with the `add_user_role()` method which assigns the WordPress role configured on the membership level without status checks, this makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to register with any membership level, including inactive levels that grant privileged WordPress roles such as Administrator, or paid levels that charge a sign-up fee. | The Ally – Web Accessibility & Usability plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to SQL Injection via the URL path in all versions up to, and including, 4.0.3. This is due to insufficient escaping on the user-supplied URL parameter in the `get_global_remediations()` method, where it is directly concatenated into an SQL JOIN clause without proper sanitization for SQL context. While `esc_url_raw()` is applied for URL safety, it does not prevent SQL metacharacters (single quotes, parentheses) from being injected. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database via time-based blind SQL injection techniques. The Remediation module must be active, which requires the plugin to be connected to an Elementor account. | ||||

| WordPress core is vulnerable to unauthorized access in versions 6.9 through 6.9.1. The Notes feature (block-level collaboration annotations) was introduced in WordPress 6.9 to allow editorial comments directly on posts in the block editor. However, the REST API `create_item_permissions_check()` method in the comments controller did not verify that the authenticated user has `edit_post` permission on the target post when creating a note.
