CVE-2024-8386 2 Mozilla, Redhat 8 Firefox, Firefox Esr, Enterprise Linux and 5 more 2024-11-21 6.1 Medium
If a site had been granted the permission to open popup windows, it could cause Select elements to appear on top of another site to perform a spoofing attack. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 130, Firefox ESR < 128.2, and Thunderbird < 128.2.
CVE-2024-7348 2 Postgresql, Redhat 7 Postgresql, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Aus and 4 more 2024-11-21 8.8 High
Time-of-check Time-of-use (TOCTOU) race condition in pg_dump in PostgreSQL allows an object creator to execute arbitrary SQL functions as the user running pg_dump, which is often a superuser. The attack involves replacing another relation type with a view or foreign table. The attack requires waiting for pg_dump to start, but winning the race condition is trivial if the attacker retains an open transaction. Versions before PostgreSQL 16.4, 15.8, 14.13, 13.16, and 12.20 are affected.
CVE-2024-6104 2 Hashicorp, Redhat 13 Retryablehttp, Advanced Cluster Security, Ceph Storage and 10 more 2024-11-21 6 Medium
go-retryablehttp prior to 0.7.7 did not sanitize urls when writing them to its log file. This could lead to go-retryablehttp writing sensitive HTTP basic auth credentials to its log file. This vulnerability, CVE-2024-6104, was fixed in go-retryablehttp 0.7.7.
CVE-2024-5891 1 Redhat 1 Quay 2024-11-21 4.2 Medium
A vulnerability was found in Quay. If an attacker can obtain the client ID for an application, they can use an OAuth token to authenticate despite not having access to the organization from which the application was created. This issue is limited to authentication and not authorization. However, in configurations where endpoints rely only on authentication, a user may authenticate to applications they otherwise have no access to.
CVE-2024-51127 1 Redhat 2 Hornetq, Jboss Enterprise Application Platform 2024-11-21 9.1 Critical
An issue in the createTempFile method of hornetq v2.4.9 allows attackers to arbitrarily overwrite files or access sensitive information.
CVE-2024-49769 3 Agendaless, Pylons, Redhat 4 Waitress, Waitress, Openshift Ironic and 1 more 2024-11-21 7.5 High
Waitress is a Web Server Gateway Interface server for Python 2 and 3. When a remote client closes the connection before waitress has had the opportunity to call getpeername() waitress won't correctly clean up the connection leading to the main thread attempting to write to a socket that no longer exists, but not removing it from the list of sockets to attempt to process. This leads to a busy-loop calling the write function. A remote attacker could run waitress out of available sockets with very little resources required. Waitress 3.0.1 contains fixes that remove the race condition.
CVE-2024-47561 2 Apache, Redhat 8 Avro, Apache Camel Spring Boot, Apicurio Registry and 5 more 2024-11-21 7.3 High
Schema parsing in the Java SDK of Apache Avro 1.11.3 and previous versions allows bad actors to execute arbitrary code. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 1.11.4  or 1.12.0, which fix this issue.
CVE-2024-41172 2 Apache, Redhat 3 Cxf, Camel Quarkus, Jboss Enterprise Application Platform 2024-11-21 7.5 High
In versions of Apache CXF before 3.6.4 and 4.0.5 (3.5.x and lower versions are not impacted), a CXF HTTP client conduit may prevent HTTPClient instances from being garbage collected and it is possible that memory consumption will continue to increase, eventually causing the application to run out of memory
CVE-2024-40898 3 Apache, Microsoft, Redhat 3 Http Server, Windows, Jboss Core Services 2024-11-21 7.5 High
SSRF in Apache HTTP Server on Windows with mod_rewrite in server/vhost context, allows to potentially leak NTML hashes to a malicious server via SSRF and malicious requests. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 2.4.62 which fixes this issue.
CVE-2024-36129 2 Opentelemetry, Redhat 5 Configgrpc, Confighttp, Opentelemetry and 2 more 2024-11-21 8.2 High
The OpenTelemetry Collector offers a vendor-agnostic implementation on how to receive, process and export telemetry data. An unsafe decompression vulnerability allows unauthenticated attackers to crash the collector via excessive memory consumption. OTel Collector version 0.102.1 fixes this issue. It is also fixed in the confighttp module version 0.102.0 and configgrpc module version 0.102.1.
CVE-2024-32976 2 Envoyproxy, Redhat 2 Envoy, Service Mesh 2024-11-21 7.5 High
Envoy is a cloud-native, open source edge and service proxy. Envoyproxy with a Brotli filter can get into an endless loop during decompression of Brotli data with extra input.
CVE-2024-32007 2 Apache, Redhat 4 Cxf, Apache-camel-spring-boot, Apache Camel Spring Boot and 1 more 2024-11-21 7.5 High
An improper input validation of the p2c parameter in the Apache CXF JOSE code before 4.0.5, 3.6.4 and 3.5.9 allows an attacker to perform a denial of service attack by specifying a large value for this parameter in a token.
CVE-2024-29736 2 Apache, Redhat 3 Cxf, Apache-camel-spring-boot, Apache Camel Spring Boot 2024-11-21 7.5 High
A SSRF vulnerability in WADL service description in versions of Apache CXF before 4.0.5, 3.6.4 and 3.5.9 allows an attacker to perform SSRF style attacks on REST webservices. The attack only applies if a custom stylesheet parameter is configured.
CVE-2024-23650 3 Moby, Mobyproject, Redhat 3 Buildkit, Buildkit, Enterprise Linux 2024-11-21 5.3 Medium
BuildKit is a toolkit for converting source code to build artifacts in an efficient, expressive and repeatable manner. A malicious BuildKit client or frontend could craft a request that could lead to BuildKit daemon crashing with a panic. The issue has been fixed in v0.12.5. As a workaround, avoid using BuildKit frontends from untrusted sources.
CVE-2024-23326 2 Envoyproxy, Redhat 2 Envoy, Service Mesh 2024-11-21 5.9 Medium
Envoy is a cloud-native, open source edge and service proxy. A theoretical request smuggling vulnerability exists through Envoy if a server can be tricked into adding an upgrade header into a response. Per RFC https://www.rfc-editor.org/rfc/rfc7230#section-6.7 a server sends 101 when switching protocols. Envoy incorrectly accepts a 200 response from a server when requesting a protocol upgrade, but 200 does not indicate protocol switch. This opens up the possibility of request smuggling through Envoy if the server can be tricked into adding the upgrade header to the response.
CVE-2024-23081 1 Redhat 1 Apache Camel Spring Boot 2024-11-21 7.5 High
ThreeTen Backport v1.6.8 was discovered to contain a NullPointerException via the component org.threeten.bp.LocalDate::compareTo(ChronoLocalDate). NOTE: this is disputed by multiple third parties who believe there was not reasonable evidence to determine the existence of a vulnerability. The submission may have been based on a tool that is not sufficiently robust for vulnerability identification.
CVE-2024-21484 2 Jsrsasign Project, Redhat 2 Jsrsasign, Migration Toolkit Virtualization 2024-11-21 7.5 High
Versions of the package jsrsasign before 11.0.0 are vulnerable to Observable Discrepancy via the RSA PKCS1.5 or RSAOAEP decryption process. An attacker can decrypt ciphertexts by exploiting the Marvin security flaw. Exploiting this vulnerability requires the attacker to have access to a large number of ciphertexts encrypted with the same key. Workaround The vulnerability can be mitigated by finding and replacing RSA and RSAOAEP decryption with another crypto library.
