| A malicious server can use the FTP PASV response to trick curl 7.73.0 and earlier into connecting back to a given IP address and port, and this way potentially make curl extract information about services that are otherwise private and not disclosed, for example doing port scanning and service banner extractions. | ||||
| CVE-2022-27774 | 6 Brocade, Debian, Haxx and 3 more | 18 Fabric Operating System, Debian Linux, Curl and 15 more | 2026-04-16 | 5.7 Medium |
| An insufficiently protected credentials vulnerability exists in curl 4.9 to and include curl 7.82.0 are affected that could allow an attacker to extract credentials when follows HTTP(S) redirects is used with authentication could leak credentials to other services that exist on different protocols or port numbers. | ||||
| CVE-2024-2961 | 4 Debian, Gnu, Netapp and 1 more | 29 Debian Linux, Glibc, Active Iq Unified Manager and 26 more | 2026-04-03 | 7.3 High |
| The iconv() function in the GNU C Library versions 2.39 and older may overflow the output buffer passed to it by up to 4 bytes when converting strings to the ISO-2022-CN-EXT character set, which may be used to crash an application or overwrite a neighbouring variable. | ||||
| CVE-2021-36086 | 5 Debian, Fedoraproject, Netapp and 2 more | 13 Debian Linux, Fedora, Active Iq Unified Manager and 10 more | 2026-03-24 | 3.3 Low |
| The CIL compiler in SELinux 3.2 has a use-after-free in cil_reset_classpermission (called from cil_reset_classperms_set and cil_reset_classperms_list). | ||||
| CVE-2025-0665 | 3 Curl, Haxx, Netapp | 15 Curl, Libcurl, Curl and 12 more | 2026-03-17 | 7 High |
| libcurl would wrongly close the same eventfd file descriptor twice when taking down a connection channel after having completed a threaded name resolve. | ||||
| CVE-2025-24928 | 3 Netapp, Redhat, Xmlsoft | 28 Active Iq Unified Manager, H300s, H300s Firmware and 25 more | 2026-02-26 | 7.8 High |
| libxml2 before 2.12.10 and 2.13.x before 2.13.6 has a stack-based buffer overflow in xmlSnprintfElements in valid.c. To exploit this, DTD validation must occur for an untrusted document or untrusted DTD. NOTE: this is similar to CVE-2017-9047. | ||||
| CVE-2023-4911 | 6 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 3 more | 43 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 40 more | 2026-02-13 | 7.8 High |
| A buffer overflow was discovered in the GNU C Library's dynamic loader ld.so while processing the GLIBC_TUNABLES environment variable. This issue could allow a local attacker to use maliciously crafted GLIBC_TUNABLES environment variables when launching binaries with SUID permission to execute code with elevated privileges. | ||||
| CVE-2023-29153 | 2 Intel, Netapp | 4 Server Platform Services, Hci Bootstrap Os, Hci Compute Node and 1 more | 2026-01-14 | 4.9 Medium |
| Uncontrolled resource consumption for some Intel(R) SPS firmware before version SPS_E5_06.01.04.002.0 may allow a privileged user to potentially enable denial of service via network access. | ||||
| CVE-2022-2068 | 7 Broadcom, Debian, Fedoraproject and 4 more | 49 Sannav, Debian Linux, Fedora and 46 more | 2025-12-30 | 9.8 Critical |
| In addition to the c_rehash shell command injection identified in CVE-2022-1292, further circumstances where the c_rehash script does not properly sanitise shell metacharacters to prevent command injection were found by code review. When the CVE-2022-1292 was fixed it was not discovered that there are other places in the script where the file names of certificates being hashed were possibly passed to a command executed through the shell. This script is distributed by some operating systems in a manner where it is automatically executed. On such operating systems, an attacker could execute arbitrary commands with the privileges of the script. Use of the c_rehash script is considered obsolete and should be replaced by the OpenSSL rehash command line tool. Fixed in OpenSSL 3.0.4 (Affected 3.0.0,3.0.1,3.0.2,3.0.3). Fixed in OpenSSL 1.1.1p (Affected 1.1.1-1.1.1o). Fixed in OpenSSL 1.0.2zf (Affected 1.0.2-1.0.2ze). | ||||
| CVE-2023-50868 | 6 Debian, Fedoraproject, Isc and 3 more | 19 Debian Linux, Fedora, Bind and 16 more | 2025-12-23 | 7.5 High |
| The Closest Encloser Proof aspect of the DNS protocol (in RFC 5155 when RFC 9276 guidance is skipped) allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (CPU consumption for SHA-1 computations) via DNSSEC responses in a random subdomain attack, aka the "NSEC3" issue. The RFC 5155 specification implies that an algorithm must perform thousands of iterations of a hash function in certain situations. | ||||
| CVE-2020-14145 | 3 Netapp, Openbsd, Redhat | 11 Active Iq Unified Manager, Aff A700s, Aff A700s Firmware and 8 more | 2025-12-18 | 5.9 Medium |
| The client side in OpenSSH 5.7 through 8.4 has an Observable Discrepancy leading to an information leak in the algorithm negotiation. This allows man-in-the-middle attackers to target initial connection attempts (where no host key for the server has been cached by the client). NOTE: some reports state that 8.5 and 8.6 are also affected. | ||||
| CVE-2022-0391 | 5 Fedoraproject, Netapp, Oracle and 2 more | 12 Fedora, Active Iq Unified Manager, Hci and 9 more | 2025-12-17 | 7.5 High |
| A flaw was found in Python, specifically within the urllib.parse module. This module helps break Uniform Resource Locator (URL) strings into components. The issue involves how the urlparse method does not sanitize input and allows characters like '\r' and '\n' in the URL path. This flaw allows an attacker to input a crafted URL, leading to injection attacks. This flaw affects Python versions prior to 3.10.0b1, 3.9.5, 3.8.11, 3.7.11 and 3.6.14. | ||||
| CVE-2024-6387 | 13 Almalinux, Amazon, Apple and 10 more | 85 Almalinux, Amazon Linux, Macos and 82 more | 2025-12-11 | 8.1 High |
| A security regression (CVE-2006-5051) was discovered in OpenSSH's server (sshd). There is a race condition which can lead sshd to handle some signals in an unsafe manner. An unauthenticated, remote attacker may be able to trigger it by failing to authenticate within a set time period. | ||||
| CVE-2024-40896 | 3 Netapp, Redhat, Xmlsoft | 15 H300s, H300s Firmware, H410c and 12 more | 2025-11-25 | 9.1 Critical |
| In libxml2 2.11 before 2.11.9, 2.12 before 2.12.9, and 2.13 before 2.13.3, the SAX parser can produce events for external entities even if custom SAX handlers try to override entity content (by setting "checked"). This makes classic XXE attacks possible. | ||||
| CVE-2019-13272 | 6 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 3 more | 25 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 22 more | 2025-11-06 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel before 5.1.17, ptrace_link in kernel/ptrace.c mishandles the recording of the credentials of a process that wants to create a ptrace relationship, which allows local users to obtain root access by leveraging certain scenarios with a parent-child process relationship, where a parent drops privileges and calls execve (potentially allowing control by an attacker). One contributing factor is an object lifetime issue (which can also cause a panic). Another contributing factor is incorrect marking of a ptrace relationship as privileged, which is exploitable through (for example) Polkit's pkexec helper with PTRACE_TRACEME. NOTE: SELinux deny_ptrace might be a usable workaround in some environments. | ||||
| CVE-2023-29483 | 5 Dnspython, Eventlet, Fedoraproject and 2 more | 9 Dnspython, Eventlet, Fedora and 6 more | 2025-11-04 | 7 High |
| eventlet before 0.35.2, as used in dnspython before 2.6.0, allows remote attackers to interfere with DNS name resolution by quickly sending an invalid packet from the expected IP address and source port, aka a "TuDoor" attack. In other words, dnspython does not have the preferred behavior in which the DNS name resolution algorithm would proceed, within the full time window, in order to wait for a valid packet. NOTE: dnspython 2.6.0 is unusable for a different reason that was addressed in 2.6.1. | ||||
| CVE-2024-56337 | 3 Apache, Netapp, Redhat | 4 Tomcat, Bootstrap Os, Hci Compute Node and 1 more | 2025-11-04 | 9.8 Critical |
| Time-of-check Time-of-use (TOCTOU) Race Condition vulnerability in Apache Tomcat. This issue affects Apache Tomcat: from 11.0.0-M1 through 11.0.1, from 10.1.0-M1 through 10.1.33, from 9.0.0.M1 through 9.0.97. The following versions were EOL at the time the CVE was created but are known to be affected: 8.5.0 though 8.5.100. Other, older, EOL versions may also be affected. The mitigation for CVE-2024-50379 was incomplete. Users running Tomcat on a case insensitive file system with the default servlet write enabled (readonly initialisation parameter set to the non-default value of false) may need additional configuration to fully mitigate CVE-2024-50379 depending on which version of Java they are using with Tomcat: - running on Java 8 or Java 11: the system property sun.io.useCanonCaches must be explicitly set to false (it defaults to true) - running on Java 17: the system property sun.io.useCanonCaches, if set, must be set to false (it defaults to false) - running on Java 21 onwards: no further configuration is required (the system property and the problematic cache have been removed) Tomcat 11.0.3, 10.1.35 and 9.0.99 onwards will include checks that sun.io.useCanonCaches is set appropriately before allowing the default servlet to be write enabled on a case insensitive file system. Tomcat will also set sun.io.useCanonCaches to false by default where it can. | ||||
